Nowadays in many offers of travel agencies you can buy special tours in the footsteps of the popular musical. Agios Ioannis, which is a small church dedicated to St. John, should not be missed on the route. It was the road to the church, located on a high rock, that provided one of the final scenes of the film, where Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnan acted out an emotional scene singing Abba’s song “The winner takes it all.” Another highlight is the Kastani beach on the island of Skopelos, where mostly younger characters played in scenes to the songs “Lay all your love on me” and “Does your mother know.”

The best view of the bridge is from the surrounding hills, but it’s a good idea to get a good seat just minutes before the train is scheduled to pass. This is because fans of the series by author J.K. Rowling can enjoy a ride on a special steam locomotive resembling the one used in the film. It usually appears on the route 4 times during the day, so the chances of a perfect view are slim.
